Job Title: Direct Support Professional- Daily SCL Elkader


Work Location: 10 bed group home - Elkader IA


Schedule

  • Second Shift Full time position, every other weekend. 2 week rotating schedule.
  • Accept changes in work schedule/flexible with hours.

Wages

  • Base wage is $18.50 (Meetings, Training, 8am-4pm)
  • $20.75 with Evening/Weekend Shift Differential (After 4pm and working past 6pm, weekends)
  • $22.50 with Midnight-8am Shift Differential

Job Duties

    • Financial management budgeting, monitoring of cash, obtaining receipts, possible managing a checking account,
    • Leisure activities planning, attending meaningful 1:1 or group activities.
  • Support with health and wellness including
    • Medical, dental, podiatry, eye exams, mental health, appointments,
    • Medication administration, passing meds, ordering meds, monitoring expiration dates of over the counter medications.
    • Following state regulations.
  • Complete assessments of clients skills
    • Attend and participate in annual goal setting meetings for people we serve.
  • Promote self advocacy,
    • Assist clients with making choices and building independence in the lives of individuals you support.
  • Work as scheduled with being dependable and punctual.
    • Hours will sometimes vary depending on the needs of the clients, sometimes arriving early and sometimes staying late.
