Description - What Awaits You

• Conduct both routine and complex clinical laboratory tests in areas such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology, by following established procedures.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, identify and resolve discrepancies, and ensure donor instruments function optimally through regular maintenance and calibration.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and ensure optimal preparation of samples for testing purposes.
• Diligently document all lab procedures, offer training to new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining the highest quality standards in the laboratory.
• Ensure a neat, safe work environment while strictly adhering to all regulatory guidelines and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification, in addition to ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Board certification by ASCP or AMT in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS), to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Commit to maintaining current certifications throughout your tenure.
