We are seeking a Scientific Support Senior Scientist to join IQVIA Laboratories at Marietta, GA.

Job Summary:
The Senior Scientist, Scientific Support performs scientific reviews of customer requirements and determines appropriate testing capabilities under limited supervision. This role collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to support test feasibility, proposal development, protocol implementation, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Perform scientific reviews of customer documentation to determine relevant internal and external testing capabilities
  • Partner with external laboratories to expand testing capabilities and support feasibility assessments for new testing protocols
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Development to develop proposal documentation outlining testing locations, testing parameters, timelines, and logistics
  • Work with Project Services to support post-award changes to testing parameters, logistics, protocols, sample management, and biobank activities
  • Lead scientific initiatives and process improvement projects while providing troubleshooting guidance and technical expertise
  • Contribute to CAPA investigations, deviations, and resolution activities while supporting quality, Six Sigma, and safety initiatives
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training support to junior team members
  • Partner with laboratories and subject matter experts to evaluate validation feasibility and implementation strategies for new testing methodologies
What We Are Looking For:
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 4 years of experience in a regulated lab environment
  • Strong knowledge of clinical laboratory testing terminology, processes, and equipment
  • Sound understanding of validation processes within the assigned technical area
  • Understanding of the clinical trial process and associated dependencies
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $58,800.00 - $122,500.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
