About AI Growth and Partnerships

The AI Growth and Partnerships team supports AI developers, research and development teams, and institutions with data, technology, and professional services. The team works on AI-ready products and partnerships that help customers use trusted scientific content in sustainable and copyright-compliant ways.

About the Role

The AI Growth and Partnerships Intern will support the team with research, partner coordination, internal communications, and day-to-day project work. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for someone who is curious about AI, publishing, data licensing, and new product development.

This internship offers hands-on exposure to how a global publisher builds AI-related products and partnerships. It is well suited for someone who wants to learn how strategy, product thinking, and business development come together in an emerging area.

This position pays $22 per hour and is full-time, 35 hours per week for 3 - 6 months, starting in June. The position is located in our Jersey City office on a hybrid working model.

What You Will Do

  • Support market and competitor research related to AI, scientific publishing, and data licensing.

  • Help organize information on potential partners, customers, and industry trends.

  • Assist with preparing internal presentations, summaries, and briefing materials.

  • Support the team in tracking projects, follow-up actions, and partnership activities.

  • Help maintain documents related to product ideas, workflows, and commercial opportunities.

  • Work with cross-functional teams such as legal, sales, content, and technology to gather information and support ongoing initiatives.

  • Assist with account updates, meeting notes, and status reporting.

  • Contribute to research on responsible AI, copyright, compliance, and risk considerations.

  • Help the team prepare for external meetings, events, and discussions with partners.
