Role Summary
This Senior Manager of Pipeline and Neurology Communications will play a key role in supporting and executing communications strategies, plans, and activities for Servier's growing pipeline and neurology portfolio in the U.S. This work will include supporting the planning, creating and executing of communications strategies that align with the business' strategic objectives, and partnering cross functionally with multiple internal stakeholders, including R&D, publications, patient affairs, medical affairs, and global colleagues. The role will support the development of communications materials for key milestone/data press releases, thought leadership programs, social/digital plans, and message development and reports to the Senior Director, Product and Pipeline Communications.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Key member of the team that plans and implements communications initiatives that drive Servier's growing neurology therapeutic business and pipeline
  • Support the development of communications strategies for our growing neurology franchise in partnership with the Associate Director and Senior Director of Portfolio and Pipeline Communications
  • Partner with key internal stakeholders in initiatives that support the business' initiatives, including developing plans to support major U.S. data/regulatory milestones, media outreach, social/digital strategy, issues management, launch activities, and medical meeting planning
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders, including R&D, publications, medical affairs, patient affairs, and global teams
  • Create and execute communications plans (digital, social, traditional media)
  • Manage communications for data and regulatory milestones including scenario planning, media relations and strategy
  • Support the development and execution of communications strategies for the franchise and pipeline at major medical meetings
  • Partner with key internal collaborators including Enterprise Communications on thought leadership opportunities
  • Track measurements to ensure effectiveness of all communications and appropriate ROI
  • Oversee agency partners and manage budgets

Candidate Profile
Education and Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, integrated marketing, communications, journalism or equivalent
  • 7+ years of experience in communications roles across the pharma/biotech industry
  • Agency and in-house experience required
  • Experience working on teams that planned and executed communications programs for a therapeutic area, including medical meetings and regulatory milestones
  • Experience working across teams and departments, fostering a cooperative and supportive environment
  • Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong ability to think creatively and solve complex communication challenges
  • Experience in rare diseases, oncology and neurology is a strong plus

Travel and Location
  • Travel 10%
  • Boston based role requiring 3 days per week in the Boston Seaport Office

Salary Range
The salary range for this role is $142-$162k. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. Employees in this position are also eligible for Short-Term and Long-Term incentive programs.
