Corporate Associate – Emerging Growth Companies – AmLaw 100 Firm
Location: Seattle, WA
Full-Time

Direct Counsel represents an AmLaw 100 firm seeking a Corporate Associate with 4–6 years of transactional experience to join its Seattle office.

The ideal candidate will advise emerging growth technology and life sciences companies throughout their full business lifecycle, from formation and fundraising through strategic transactions and exits.

Associates will serve as outside general counsel to clients, providing day-to-day business advice, working directly with management teams, and advising companies and investors on sophisticated corporate matters.

Qualifications:

  • 4–6 years of corporate transactional experience
  • Experience in venture capital, private equity, mergers & acquisitions, and/or capital markets
  • Experience representing emerging growth technology or life sciences companies preferred
  • Ability to advise clients on equity financings, strategic transactions, and acquisitions
  • Strong client management and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Genuine interest in technology, life sciences, and innovative companies

Compensation & Benefits
The expected salary range is $310,000–$390,000, depending on experience and associate year level. Discretionary merit-based bonuses may also be awarded.
