- Design and develop advanced, interactive data visualizations using React, Deck.gl, and related technologies.
- Lead and mentor a small team of visualization engineers, providing technical guidance and conducting code reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, engineers, product managers) to gather requirements and create effective visual storytelling solutions.
- Optimize rendering performance for large, complex geospatial and temporal datasets.
- Ensure accessibility and responsiveness of visualizations across various devices and platforms.
- Maintain a scalable and maintainable codebase using best practices in testing, performance, and code structure.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in data visualization to drive team innovation.
- Utilize strong UI/UX skills to deliver compelling and intuitive user experiences.
