Project Manager/Leader
The Project Manager role within the Global Gaming Technical Delivery team is responsible for driving complex technology initiatives across multiple brands and regions. The nature of this position requires daily decision-making on project scope, timelines, resource alignment, and risk management. While the Project Manager does not act independently on major decisions, they work closely with application owners and project stakeholders to evaluate options and determine the best course of action. This collaboration ensures that decisions are aligned with business priorities and technical feasibility, while maintaining compliance with governance standards.
Typical challenges include coordinating resources across multiple functional areas, navigating different brand architectures, and fostering collaboration among diverse technical teams. A key aspect of the role is understanding business drivers and translating them into effective technology solutions that meet strategic objectives. For example, the Project Manager may need to reconcile competing resource demands between development and infrastructure teams, adapt designs to fit varying brand standards, or adjust delivery plans to accommodate evolving business requirementsโ€”all while ensuring quality and timely execution. This Project Manager for Global Gamming Technical delivery team will manage complex technology projects across multiple locations, ensuring successful delivery of initiatives that support gaming operations worldwide. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, proven project management expertise, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
The purpose of the project manager role is to ensure projects are delivered successfully by providing structure, discipline, and accountability throughout the entire lifecycle. This role exists to apply standardized processes, tools, and methodologies that improve efficiency, enhance quality, and reduce delivery time. By driving collaboration and maintaining focus, the project manager transforms objectives into actionable plans, monitors progress, and ensures outcomes meet stakeholder expectations while staying within scope, budget, and schedule.
Key Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation using tools like Wrike, MS Project, and Monday.com.
  • Handle multiple concurrent projects with varying complexity and timelines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to capture business and technical requirements.
  • Translate requirements into actionable tasks and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Create and manage test cases, coordinate testing activities, and validate deliverables.
  • Oversee defect tracking and resolution.
  • Apply Agile and Waterfall methodologies as appropriate.
    Contribute to PMO development and governance standards.
  • Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Provide regular status updates, dashboards, and executive summaries.
  • Facilitate meetings and ensure clear communication across teams.:
  • Manage release schedules, deployment plans, and ensure compliance with change control
Education:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within IT or technology domains.
  • Proven experience on IT projects related to data warehouse, IT infrastructure, cloud platforms.
  • Experience managing projects across multiple locations.
Technical Skills:
  • Understanding of underlying technologies such as databases (DB), virtual machines (VMs), operating systems (OS), networking, cloud, and security principles.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL for creating queries and basic data analysis.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (Wrike, MS Project, Monday.com).
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in cruise or casino industry (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Prior involvement in building or scaling a PMO function
