Company Description
At CRB, we design and build some of the most powerful facilities in the world - those that change people's lives. We are the leading provider of sustainable Engineering, Architecture, Construction and Consulting solutions to the global life sciences and food and beverage industries. Our employees provide best-in-class solutions that drive success and positive change for our clients, our people and our communities. CRB is a privately held company with a rich history of serving clients throughout the world, consistently striving for the highest standard of technical knowledge, creativity and execution.
Job Description
The Project Manager - Construction leads the construction execution of complex, technically demanding projects for CRB clients, with accountability for safety, field coordination, subcontractor performance, schedule, cost, quality, change management, and client communication. This role is construction-forward: the Project Manager is expected to drive work in the field, coordinate closely with superintendents, trade partners, design/engineering teams, project controls, procurement, and commissioning stakeholders, and ensure the project is delivered in alignment with CRB's standards for technical execution, client service, and financial performance. Single or multiple project assignments may be required.
  • Lead construction projects through planning, preconstruction, field execution, turnover, and closeout while maintaining alignment with project objectives, contract requirements, CRB standards, and client expectations
  • Drive site-level coordination with superintendents, trade contractors, suppliers, project controls, safety, quality, procurement, design, and commissioning teams
  • Manage project scope, budget, schedule, change events, RFIs, submittals, procurement status, construction documentation, risk items, and project reporting
  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring construction activities are planned and executed with safety, quality, and operational discipline at the forefront
  • Lead subcontractor and trade partner coordination, including performance management, issue resolution, sequencing, productivity tracking, and alignment to project milestones
  • Serve as a primary client-facing construction leader, maintaining clear communication, building trust, and creating a project experience that supports long-term client relationships
  • Coordinate closely with CRB's integrated design and construction teams to resolve constructability issues, manage field changes, and support efficient project delivery
  • Maintain accountability for project financial performance, including cost forecasting, change management, schedule impacts, and timely escalation of risks or constraints

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent construction project management experience
  • Minimum of five years of applicable construction project management experience, preferably on large-scale industrial, manufacturing, life sciences, food and beverage, or other technically complex facility projects
  • Demonstrated experience managing field construction execution, subcontractor coordination, project schedule, budget, change management, and client-facing project communication

Additional Qualifications
  • Construction-first mindset with the ability to lead in active field environments and make timely, practical decisions that keep work moving safely and efficiently
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site logistics, trade coordination, RFIs, submittals, procurement, change orders, cost reporting, and schedule management
  • Ability to partner effectively with CRB design, engineering, procurement, construction, safety, quality, and commissioning teams
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage trade partners, internal teams, and client stakeholders
  • Experience supporting heavy construction, major renovation, expansion, greenfield, brownfield, or fast-track project delivery is strongly preferred
  • Industry certifications such as PMP, LEED, CCM, or other construction/project management credentials are preferred but not required
