Overview

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join our Lehigh Valley, PA Office.


Water and wastewater management presents unique challenges from environmental, health and economic issues, to regulatory concerns. Our water management experts comprehend these complexities and apply their expertise in all areas of feasibility, design and master planning taking into consideration the value of water as a precious natural resource. Our qualified professionals develop creative and effective solutions for any water management project and are dedicated to ensuring that communities are provided with safe, consistent, water and wastewater distribution, collection, and treatment.


Responsibilities
  • Perform design tasks associated with civil, infrastructure, water/wastewater, and municipal type engineering projects.
  • Work within AutoCAD and alongside existing office staff/management to successfully complete projects within established budgets and deadlines.
  • Design of capital improvement projects including preparation of construction plans and project specifications.
  • Ensuring technical accuracy, standard engineering practices, and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various plans, reports and design documents.
  • Assisting other departments with engineering and technical support needs.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in environmental engineering, or civil engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience in the civil/environmental engineering field with concentration in water/wastewater design.
  • Professional Engineering license required.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Ability to interact with coworkers, clients and regulatory agencies.
  • Knowledge of construction means and methods.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and with team members and manage projects.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
