RN Manager - Medical Surgical/Telemetry

Lead Acute Care Nursing

Bridgton Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Manager to provide 24-hour clinical and operational leadership for the Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) and Telemetry departments. Reporting to the CNO/DON, you will lead patient care, nursing operations, staff development, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, and departmental performance in a collaborative acute care environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead daily operations for the Med/Surg and Telemetry units.
  • Ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, productivity, and departmental resources.
  • Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff.
  • Drive quality improvement, patient safety, and performance initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, state, and federal regulations.
  • Monitor quality metrics, patient satisfaction, and operational performance.
  • Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to improve clinical outcomes and operational excellence.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and employee engagement.
Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

1. Must have a current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse. 2. BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current. 3. A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience necessary. 4. Minimum of three years of continuous clinical experience in a clinical/acute care setting. 5. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.

6. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), required for all hires after 1/11/2021.

Pay Transparency

Bridgton Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $84,905.60 to $122,990.40 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
