Have executive authority over all operations of ORTEC Americas, including executive level authority over company policies, business operations, personnel, and strategy. Oversee three main business segments: Continuous Improvement, Operations Loading & SAP and Operations Routing - the three operations-centric segments at ORTEC Americas. Oversee and manage all Operations projects and portfolios, monitor and improve revenues and cost figures for the Americas Operations group and manage implementation projects. Lead the Operations Management Team, oversee financial reporting, business planning, forecasting, and auditing, and direct long- and short-term capacity planning, recruitment efforts, and employee engagement programs. Collaborate with the SVP Sales & Accounts and the Global Supply Chain Planning Leadership team to define the divisionโ€™s strategic direction. Develop and implement business plans to achieve strategic objectives. Translate strategic goals into actionable operational plans. Provide leadership to the operations team, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and values. Foster a high-performance culture through effective team management, development, and succession planning. Drive organizational change initiatives to improve business processes and operational efficiency. Ensure that all operations comply with corporate governance standards and regulatory requirements. Implement and monitor policies and procedures to maintain operational integrity and compliance. Oversee the day to day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational performance. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational success and identify areas for improvement. Conduct regular performance reviews and report findings to the executive team and board of directors. Collaborate with the EVP to develop and manage the operational budget. Monitor financial performance against the budget, implementing corrective actions as needed. Ensure that resources are allocated effectively to support strategic objectives. Identify costโ€‘saving opportunities without compromising service quality. Implement measures to control operational expenses and improve profitability. Oversee the implementation of new technologies and systems to improve operational efficiency. Ensure the effective use of technology in streamlining operations and enhancing productivity. Foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within the operations team. Encourage continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence. Ensure that the company's operations deliver a high level of customer satisfaction. Address any operational issues that impact client experiences and implement solutions. Manage relationships with suppliers and partners to ensure quality and reliability. Negotiate contracts and agreements to benefit the company's operational needs. Identify operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Ensure business continuity plans are in place and regularly updated. Ensure clear and effective communication of operational strategies, policies, and goals throughout the organization. Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to achieve business objectives. Prepare and present comprehensive reports on operational performance to the EVP Supply Chain Planning and board of directors. Provide insights and recommendations based on operational data and trends.

Supervises 7 subordinates โ€“ Director Operations, Manager Operations, IT Support.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

Bachelorโ€™s degree in Econometrics, Management Science, Operations Research, Logistics, Data Science, a related field, or a foreign equivalent plus 6 years of progressively responsible postโ€‘baccalaureate experience in job offered or any business finance/engineering related job titles.

Applicants must possess at least 6 years of experience in the following: (1) consulting in a consumer facing/solution selling context; (2) scaling teams globally; (3) Crossโ€‘functional stakeholder management & commercial orientation; (4) supplyโ€‘chain planning systems / APS; (5) analytics & mathematical optimization; (6) program management; and (7) Domain & industry expertise (retail, manufacturing, logistics, energy).

20% domestic travel required for exploring further value creation and/or handling escalations on senior management level. 10% international travel required for strategy setting meetings at our NL HQ, meeting up with European peers, and meeting with R&D teams.
