Our team of board-certified clinical, anatomic and research pathologists work in conjunction with top scientists from around the world to provide quality testing, consultation, and guidance for all aspects of the company’s pharma and diagnostic services.

Our company is looking for talented and highly motived Cytogenetics Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team!

In this role, one will support the delivery of patient care by performing cytogenetic and FISH based testing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handles and processes specimens, ensuring proper identification

• Performs Cytogenetics and FISH tests according to SOP for diagnostic and research samples

• Performs quality control procedures on equipment, and reagents

• Participates in the validation of laboratory methods and procedures

• Adheres to all regulatory, institutional, and departmental policies to ensure laboratory accreditation

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific field

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory preferred

Skills and Knowledge

• Skill in the operation of laboratory equipment and instruments

• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and documentation practices

• Knowledge of GCP

• Experience with sterile technique required

• Ability to work as a team member

• Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
