Job Description:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct experiments utilizing standardized test methods
  • Maintain concise and accurate records of laboratory experiments and other documentation in Electronic Lab Notebook system.
  • Keep Engineers and Scientists well informed of project status and results of laboratory investigations
  • Prepare samples and track documentation for stability, micro-challenge, toxicological, clinical, and performance testing.
  • Follow general lab safety guidelines and maintain a clean, orderly work area
  • Operate laboratory test equipment in a Chemistry laboratory.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
  • ssociates Degree in a technical field (Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, etc.)

TOP 5 REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • BILITY TO LIFT 10-40 lbs.
  • Must be able to evaluate visual criteria accurately and consistently against a standard scale.
1. 2+ years in a laboratory setting
2. Ability to operate laboratory testing equipment in a Chemistry Laboratory
3. Ability to write reports and recommendations based on lab results.
4. Ability to maintain concise and accurate records of laboratory experiments and other documentation in Electronic Lab Notebook system.
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to rigorously follow lab protocols.
TECHNOLOGY PROFICIENCIES:
  • Microsoft Office products (Word, Powerpoint, Outlook)
PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES:
  • Understanding of the functional properties, proper use, and the environmental impact of ingredients
  • Possess an understanding of regulatory processes, i.e., EPA registrations; experience
  • Design of Experiments or Statistical analysis skills
  • Scientific curiosity and the ability to solve technical problems related to packaging, formulation and manufacturing
