Location: US:WI:MENOMONEE FALLS at our CP-TOWN HALL HEALTH CENTER facility.
This job is ON - SITE.
FTE: 0.600000
Standard Hours: 24.00
Shift: Rotating
Shift Details:
(3) 8-hour shifts per week or (2) 12-hour shifts at North Hills Health Center, Tosa Health Center, or Town Hall Health Center. The start times are either 8am or 12pm.
Summary:
A Medical Lab Scientist and Medical Lab Technician perform laboratory procedures using established and approved protocols that require the broad exercise of independent judgment and responsibility with minimal technical supervision. Our laboratory professional is responsible for quality control instrument maintenance and specimen procurement and processing. Other duties as assigned. (u-s)
Medical Lab Scientist Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related science is required within 60 days of hire.
Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent is required within 6 months of hire.
Medical Lab Tech Qualifications:
Associate degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology including an internship at an affiliated laboratory from an accredited institution is required within 60 days of hire.
MLT (ASCP) certification is required within 6 months of hire.
