Job description

About the Work

In this role, you will shape the educational backbone of the FDA's learning initiatives. You will design, develop, and evaluate customized, multi-modal instructional packages (virtual, classroom, eLearning, and simulations) that empower FDA staff. From assessing agency-wide learning needs to crafting tactical plans for full lifecycle training, your work ensures FDA personnel possess the critical competencies needed to protect public health. This position will be remote with periodic on-site presence at Silver Spring, MD.

What You Bring to the Table
  • Education: Masterโ€™s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Adult Education, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in instructional systems design and curriculum development.
  • Technical Requirements:
  • Advanced proficiency in applying the ADDIE model across varied learning environments.
  • Proven experience conducting agency-wide learning needs analyses and audience evaluations.
  • Expertise in designing customized courses for adult learners in scientific or federal domains.
  • Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability clearance.
