The College of Natural Sciences at GCU is home to dedicated faculty and academic support professionals who are deeply committed to student success. As part of this mission, Instructional Assistants serve as trusted resources and role models for students while partnering closely with the lecturing instructor in a supportive, part-time role that offers valuable classroom and academic experience.

What You Will Do:
  • Support program instruction using innovative teaching methods, current technologies, and up-to-date industry practices
  • Ensure alignment with program accreditation requirements and university standards
  • Be available to work on GCU's Main Campus at least two days per week
  • Contribute to the university community through active participation in its programs and alignment with its mission and values
  • Serve as a role model by embracing and upholding GCU's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and overall mission

What You Will Bring:
  • Bachelor's or higher in Environmental Science
  • Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in any discipline and environmental science coursework may also be considered
  • Completion of relevant coursework in the instructional area, with a grade of B or higher in each course
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to building positive relationships with students
  • Proficiency in English grammar and APA formatting
  • A desire to contribute to a Christ-centered university environment
