I2X Technologies is seeking a Java Team Lead: Job Description: Java Team Lead (TS/SCI with CI Poly) Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Java Team Lead to lead a technical team in delivering high-quality software solutions. This role combines strong technical expertise with Agile leadership responsibilities, including PI Planning and Scrum execution. Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and mentor a team of software engineers on daily tasks and technical direction * Facilitate PI Planning, Sprint Planning, and other Scrum ceremonies * Break down features into tasks, assign work, and track progress * Design, develop, and review complex Java-based applications and services * Ensure high code quality through code reviews, testing, and best practices * Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and other teams to deliver on commitments * Remove technical and process blockers for the team * Provide technical guidance and support career growth for team members Qualifications Requirements: * 7+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in Java * Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Team Lead * Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, including PI Planning and Scrum * Strong knowledge of task decomposition, sprint planning, and team coordination * Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly (required) * Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and modern development practices * Excellent communication and leadership skills Preferred to Have: * Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP) * Knowledge of microservices, Spring Boot, or related Java frameworks * Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines * Prior experience in government or clear environments Essential Requirements: US Citizenship is required.
