Prosperity Placement Solutions is seeking a motivated Registered Clinical Social Work Intern (RCSW Intern) to join a dynamic behavioral health team in Arcadia, Florida.

This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging clinician looking to gain hands-on experience in outpatient and school-based behavioral health while receiving valuable mentorship and clinical development.

Responsibilities

  • Provide psychotherapy, counseling, and behavioral health services in a school-based and outpatient setting
  • Conduct 30-minute therapy sessions
  • Complete behavioral health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide crisis intervention and emergency behavioral health support when necessary
  • Collaborate with physicians, school staff, case managers, and behavioral health professionals
  • Maintain accurate documentation within an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
  • Support patients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral disorders, and substance abuse issues

Qualifications

Required

  • Active Florida RCSW Intern license in good standing
  • Experience providing psychotherapy and counseling services
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of behavioral health treatment planning
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient environment
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR)

Preferred

  • School-based counseling experience
  • Substance abuse/addictions counseling background
  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
  • Experience working with multicultural populations
