Job description

To maintain the security and safety of student body, faculty and staff, patrol campus and maintain security of buildings and grounds. The successful candidate will perform duties customary of a school security guard which include participating in the development and implementation of action plans to provide a safe environment and immediate response to threats of imminent violence, criminal incidents, emergency medical incidents, auto accidents, and others. They will be responsible for supervising and patrolling school activities, ensuring that the doors are locked and unlocked per the wishes of the principal, and regulating student behavior on campus in classrooms, cafeteria, gym, restroom, locker rooms, parking lots and other areas. A more comprehensive job description is attached.A High School diploma or GED, demonstrated knowledge of security procedures, job-related experience, and a valid driver's license are required.Regular Attendance is an essential function of this position!
