What is a school program aide?

School Program Aides are support staff who assist teachers and school administrators with classroom activities, supervision, and other tasks that help create a positive learning environment. They may work one-on-one with students, help prepare instructional materials, supervise students during recess or lunch, and provide additional help to students who need it. Their role is essential in ensuring that classrooms run smoothly and that all students receive the support they need to succeed.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a school program aide?

To thrive as a School Program Aide, you need a high school diploma or equivalent, basic knowledge of educational practices, and experience working with children. These abilities are crucial for maintaining a safe, positive learning environment and ensuring smooth operation of school programs.
