What you'll do
The Certified Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the dental practice.
  • Identifies patient concerns and communicates to provider, updates patient medical history, pain assessments, ID patient
  • Demonstrates skills and knowledge when preparing and setting up operatory for procedures and educating patients at the request of the provider
  • Cross covers and assists front desk as needed
  • Demonstrates skills and knowledge when interacting with patient and provider with clear concise communication
  • Prepares patient for scheduled procedure
  • Decontaminates instruments & equipment
  • Prepares instruments for sterilization according to policies
  • Reports damaged or missing instruments
  • Maintains adequate stock levels
  • Maintains infection control standards

What we need from you
Education:
  • High School or GED, required

Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year experience in the dental field, preferred

Licensure/Certifications:
  • Certified Dental Assistant, preferred
  • BLS Certification, required
  • CPR Certification, required

Physical Requirements:
