Rochester City Lines is searching for multiple friendly, customer service-oriented drivers that enjoy an office with a view. As our region continues to grow, we're looking for drivers that are ready to transport passengers, both regionally and nationally, for business, school, sports, entertainment, weddings, and more.
Most of our drivers have been with us for 10+ years: that's because when you work for family, you're treated like family. Serving the greater Twin Cities area for over 50 years, our family-owned and operated business maintains a respected reputation for dependability and service. We are a certified member of the International Motorcoach Group (IMG).
Requirements
Qualifications
• Applicants with no previous large vehicle experience but must meet and
pass the training requirements as outlined in the Company Training Policy
below:
• Applicants must be a minimum age of 25 - Anyone under the age
requirement between 21-24 must show previous bus or commercial driving
experience and will be a special request for approval
• Applicants must have a Current Valid Driver's License and be able to obtain
a Class B CDL Permit with an Air Brake & Passenger Endorsement or
currently hold one (RCL/RBC will help applicant/s obtain CDL &
Endorsements if necessary) ELDT - Training available (Theory & BTW)
• Hold or pass a DOT Medical
• Pass a pre-employment DOT Drug Screen
• Must have a clean Driver's record with no more than two minor violations
in 3 years and No major violations in 5 years
• Subject to a Criminal Background check that meets DOT requirements
• Clean Previous employer check/s
• Pass a Certification of Road Test with company official
• Drivers with less than 3 years driving experience will be subject to Local
Trips Only (Rochester to Twin Cities or surrounding areas) no long trips to large
metropolitan cities unless paired with a senior driver for training purposes.
