You report disciplinary issues to administrators and meet with parents or guardians. Some school aides assist more specific groups, such as special education students or ESL students.

What does a school aide do?

A school aide assists teachers and staff with various tasks to support the daily operations of a school. Their duties often include helping supervise students, preparing classroom materials, monitoring student behavior, and providing additional support to students who need it. School aides may also assist in the cafeteria, playground, or during school events. Their role is essential for maintaining a safe, organized, and productive learning environment.

What are some typical challenges school aides face when supporting teachers and students?
