Position Summary:
Responsible for the pickup and delivery of inbound and outbound freight to customer locations using company vehicles at least 50% of the time. Operates company vehicles in the area surrounding a DB Schenker facility (within a 150-air-mile radius) while ensuring safe, timely, and professional service.
Job Responsibilities

  • Verify shipment bills for required information and load freight onto vehicles.
  • Unload freight and verify weight and dimensions against shipping documentation.
  • Sort outbound freight for overnight and second-day delivery and load freight onto vehicles.
  • Deliver freight to customer locations using company vehicles.
  • Pick up freight from customer locations using company vehicles.
  • Maintain safe driving practices and comply with all applicable traffic laws and company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • The individual in this position must be capable of performing all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • This is a DOT position, DSV will assist with DOT certification.

This is an intermediate-level position requiring strong interpersonal and customer service skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Two to four years of related driving, delivery, warehouse, or logistics experience is preferred.
Compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
