Job description

Electrical Tendering Engineer

We are looking for a technically proficient and commercially minded Electrical Engineer to support our power plant sales and order execution activities. This role ensures that electrical system designs and configurations meet customer requirements, project specifications, and internal quality standards throughout the sales and order execution phases. The main focus of this position is the tender preparation of electrical systems and components of engine power plants.

Join a dynamic environment where key infrastructure is being newly established. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing foundational processes, systems, and structures to support future growth.

Scope:

  • Creation of technical specifications, SLDs, load lists and system specifications for sourcing activities
  • Creation of a budget calculation of electrical systems and components for engine power plants
  • Technical development for electrical- and control-engineering and support of the sales and project managers internally and at customer site
  • Analysis of customer specifications for electrical- and control-engineering and transfer of such requirements into detailed electrical system designs.
  • Conceptions of electrical systems e.g. Control, MV-Switchgear, LV Distribution and SLDs and system schematics
  • Coordination and technical clarification with engineering, development, purchasing and external vendors
  • Electrical- and control-engineering presentations and leading electrical clarifications with customers during contract negotiations including national and international business trips
  • Collection and assessment of external vendor offers, negotiation of specification and offers in collaboration with the project management and purchasing department.
  • Regular check of budgets considering actual cost

Job profile:

  • Electrical Engineer or comparable qualification
  • 5+ years of experience in power plant engineering, electrical system design, or technical sales support
  • Excellent know-how at electrical energy and control engineering for Power Plants or Construction
  • Work experience preferably in Power Plants and Construction
  • Expert knowledge in MS Office and SAP
  • Expert knowledge in local UL regulations and relevant standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NEC)
  • Team oriented and independent work performance
  • You are a real problem-solver, result-driven, positive-minded, combined with enthusiasm and perseverance.
  • You have good leadership skills and a likable personality that allow you to work through a project from A to Z with other departments and external stakeholders.
  • You have experience working in an international environment that involves collaboration with internal and external parties across different countries and time zones
  • Good communication skills
  • Spanish language skills are very welcome.
