We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations and ensure the efficient, safe, and profitable execution of production activities. This role is responsible for driving production performance, championing Lean and continuous improvement initiatives, and developing high-performing teams that consistently exceed customer expectations. If you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and have a passion for operational excellence, team leadership, and process improvement, we'd love to hear from you.
 
What You'll Do
  • Lead day-to-day production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives.
  • Develop, coordinate, and adjust production schedules based on customer demand, workforce availability, machine capacity, and operational priorities.
  • Monitor workflow, job progress, and production performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions when required.
  • Drive accountability for production results through regular performance reviews and improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize ERP and production tracking systems to monitor labor utilization, job status, and key manufacturing metrics.
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing principles and foster a culture of continuous improvement across the production team.
  • Support the execution of manufacturing strategies that enhance operational performance, customer satisfaction, and business growth.
  • Develop and maintain standardized work practices, operating procedures, and training programs to improve consistency and efficiency.
  • Manage departmental budgets and identify opportunities for cost reduction and productivity improvements.
  • Collaborate with quality, engineering, supply chain, and leadership teams to prioritize work and resolve production-related challenges.
  • Lead, coach, and develop production employees while promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning.
  • Partner with Human Resources and leadership teams on recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and workforce development initiatives.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship, feedback, and development opportunities to support employee growth and performance.
  • Promote and lead Occupational Health & Safety initiatives, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.

Qualifications
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience within a high-tech or electronics manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, including leading large production teams of 80+ direct and indirect employees.
  • Strong financial and business acumen, including experience managing budgets and operational performance metrics.
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching, project management, and team development capabilities.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to drive results while building a positive and engaged workplace culture.
