Key responsibilities

  • Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for templating, shop production, and installations.

  • Schedule production jobs based on material availability, job complexity, equipment capacity, and crew availability.

  • Monitor job progress, adjust schedules for delays, and communicate updates to relevant team members.

Job description

Artisan Design Group (ADG), a Lowe's company, is a leading national provider of interior finishings solutions for homebuilders and property management clients. ADG delivers end to end design, procurement and installation services for flooring, cabinets, countertops and a growing portfolio of interior products.
Founded in 2016, ADG has grown by uniting respected regional operators across the country. Following its 2025 acquisition by Lowe's Companies, Inc., the company continues to operate as ADG while benefiting from the scale, resources and brand strength of one of the most trusted names in home improvement. Together, they are expanding their capabilities in a highly fragmented market while remaining committed to craftsmanship, service and local expertise. that make their teams valued partners nationwide.
A typical day: When you come in, you'll head over to the office and check the status of projects going through the company, what's getting done, and customers who need to get their granite scheduled to come be installed in their home. Though you'll be in the same building where the fabrication of granite is actually taking place, you'll still be in a typical office/administrative environment. You'll report straight to the Granite Shop Manager and work independently throughout the day. It might not always be easy to pull off this coordination effort, but there's definitely something satisfying about perfectly matching all the pieces of a schedule together.
  • Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for templating (measure jobs), shop production (fabrication) and installations to optimize workflow and meet customer deadlines.
  • Schedule production jobs in the shop based on slab availability, material lead times, job complexity, machine/equipment capacity, and crew availability to achieve balanced loading and minimize bottlenecks.
  • Schedule installation crews, ensuring proper sequencing.
  • Communicate schedules clearly to templaters, fabricators, installers, drivers, and other team members.
  • Monitor job progress daily; adjust schedules proactively for delays (e.g., material shortages, customer changes weather for installs, or shop issues).
  • Track and update job statuses in real time; maintain accurate records of completion dates, reschedules, and reasons for changes.
  • Act as the central point of contact for scheduling-related questions from customers, sales, and field teams; provide updates and manage expectations.
  • Collaborate with production leads to prioritize rush jobs or special orders while protecting overall schedule integrity.

Requirements
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
In this role, we're on the lookout for someone who preferably has prior experience in a scheduler role, regardless of the industry. The beauty of the role: you don't need any prior experience in the kitchen, bath, and flooring industry!
OUR BENEFITS
  • Health Insurance (Medical, Prescription, Dental, and Vision)
  • Life Insurance
  • Disability Insurance
  • Paid Holidays and Time Off
  • 401(k) Plan with company matching
