Job description

Scanning Clerk

Location: Brunswick, NJ

Duration: 1 Month

Drug Screen - No - Background Checks - Yes

Position Description: Under close supervision, performs routine, repetitive clerical work involving the preparation, scanning, and indexing of Human Service case files. Duties are performed using well-established operating procedures and computer systems to ensure scanning and indexing are completed in an accurate and timely manner. The exercise of independent judgement is limited due to the nature of work. May perform other related clerical duties as required.

Skills Required:

  • Proficient in the use of Windows based pc's, scanners, and other standard office equipment
  • Proficient in typing and/or entering data.
  • Ability to perform tasks accurately within prescribed time frames.
  • Ability to absorb and retain information quickly.
  • Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in group environment
  • Ability to understand, remember, and carry out oral and written directions.
