  • Supervise, motivate, coach and train warehouse associates
  • Implement performance improvement strategies when needed
  • Oversee equipment and coordinate maintenance needs
  • Handle inventory control processes
  • Drive quality operations through Lean methodologies
  • Create and monitor KPIs against targets
  • Lead the organization to meet or exceed KPIs
  • Ensure picking and putaway activities meet operational needs
  • Lead operations supporting value-added service and outbound packing to meet or exceed lead-time requirements
  • Initiate and facilitate projects improving safety, quality, delivery, cost and employee morale
  • Oversee daily operations supporting national returns processing and outbound order preparation for a multichannel distribution center
Requirements
  • 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and computerized scanner equipment
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
  • Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
  • Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
  • Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
  • Pre-employment drug test may be required after a conditional offer
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field (preferred)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred)
  • Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment (preferred)
  • Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Process Improvement knowledge and experience (preferred)
  • Experience in warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) (preferred)
  • Solid problem-solving techniques and statistical analysis skills (preferred)
