Boston, MA | 13-Week Travel Contract | Premier Pediatric Facility

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a travel assignment at a nationally recognized pediatric healthcare facility in Boston, Massachusetts. This opportunity offers exceptional weekly compensation, the potential for contract extensions, and the chance to work alongside a highly supportive team in a leading pediatric hospital.

Position Details
  • Location: Boston, MA
  • Start Date: September 14, 2026
  • Contract Length: 13 Weeks
  • Schedule Options:
    • 3x12-Hour Shifts
    • 4x10-Hour Shifts
  • 40 Hours Per Week
  • Rotating shifts based on department needs
  • Primarily Night Shifts
  • Weekday and Weekend Coverage Required
  • Shift preferences may be considered
Compensation
  • Travel Pay Package: Up to $3,907/Week
Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and emergency CT imaging procedures
  • Review imaging orders and evaluate exam appropriateness based on patient history and clinical indications
  • Verify patient identification using established hospital protocols
  • Perform IV placement for contrast-enhanced procedures
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety
  • Assist with X-Ray procedures when needed
  • Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation within EPIC
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 Year of Pediatric CT Experience Required
  • Minimum 1 Year of CT Experience Required
  • Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License Required
  • ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) Certifications Required
  • BLS Certification Required
  • Proficiency in IV Placement
  • Experience with radiology systems and applications preferred
  • Ability to assist with X-Ray procedures as needed

The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician.  These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essential for accurate diagnostics.  The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist also performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year of experience as a CAT/CT Technologist preferred.
  • Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging
  • A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
