About the Role:
Empire Architectural Products Corp is looking for a skilled Aluminum Storefront Fabricator and Installer to join our team in Freeport, NY. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in bringing architectural visions to life through precision fabrication and professional installation. If you take pride in craftsmanship and love seeing a project through from start to finish, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate aluminum storefront systems, curtain walls, and entrance systems according to project specifications
  • Perform on-site installation of aluminum framing, glass panels, doors, and hardware
  • Read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and shop drawings
  • Cut, drill, and assemble aluminum extrusions and components using shop tools and equipment
  • Ensure proper sealing, weatherproofing, and glazing of installed systems
  • Coordinate with project managers, glaziers, and general contractors on job sites
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment both in the shop and on-site
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in aluminum storefront, curtain wall, or architectural glazing fabrication and installation
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical shop drawings
  • Proficiency with power tools, saws, drills, and fabrication equipment
  • Strong knowledge of glazing techniques, sealants, and weatherstripping
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
