Job Description Summary

Lead Scaffold Erector

This is an exciting opportunity to support large, long-term projects on Theme Parks in the Orlando area. Multiple positions available!

Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Lead Scaffold Erector.

Designs and erects various types of scaffolds. Lead Scaffold Erector must act as a mentor and coach to the Scaffold Erectors to aid in their development. Lead Scaffold Erector is required to work with tools.

Education or experience that prepares you for success:

  • Some trade school preferred but not required

  • Scaffold Erector for a minimum of 2 years or approved equivalent experience

  • Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights

  • Bilingual a plus

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:

  • Must be able to safely and effectively manage a small crew to erect and dismantle various types of scaffolding under the supervision of a Foreman on site

  • Must have good knowledge of the OSHA rules and regulations regarding scaffolding

  • Must have a good knowledge and understanding of the various types of scaffolding material being used so that the intended loads of the scaffolding are not exceeded

  • Knowledge and use of various types of scaffolding materials

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 40 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
