These systems are essential for controlling and monitoring critical infrastructure, such as power plants, water treatment facilities, and manufacturing processes. SCADA Network Analysts ensure the network's security, reliability, and performance, often working to prevent cyber threats and respond to incidents. They also troubleshoot network issues, install updates, and collaborate with engineers to optimize system operations.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a SCADA Network Analyst?

To excel as a SCADA Network Analyst, you typically need expertise in industrial control systems, networking protocols, and cybersecurity, often backed by a degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Familiarity with SCADA software platforms, network monitoring tools, and certifications like CompTIA Network+, CISSP, or GICSP are commonly required.
