JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a motivated Instrumentation Technician to join our systems integration and technical support team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates of technical or engineering programs who are eager to develop hands-on skills in instrumentation and control systems. You will work alongside experienced engineers and senior technicians on real-world projects, with mentorship and structured training from day one.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems under supervision.
  • Assist with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and system validation activities.
  • Participate in I/O checks, loop verification, and signal testing.
  • Provide technical support to customers and internal teams as directed.
  • Help diagnose system issues and document findings for corrective action.
  • Learn to interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and control schematics โ€” training provided.
  • Assist with control panel testing and verification.
  • Document configurations, test results, and technical reports accurately.
  • Support system upgrades, retrofits, and new project implementations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Education: Associate degree or technical diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical Technology, or a related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply).
  • Basic understanding of instrumentation concepts (pressure, flow, level, temperature) from coursework or lab training.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or schematics โ€” or willingness to develop this skill on the job.
  • Language: Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (oral and written).

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Internship, co-op, capstone project, or school lab experience in instrumentation, automation, or control systems.
  • Exposure to calibration equipment or test instruments (multimeters, signal generators, etc.).
  • Familiarity with PLC or SCADA concepts from coursework.
  • OSHA 10-Hour certification or willingness to obtain it (company-supported).
