POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a high-agency Senior Account Executive with deep domain expertise in Defense and National Security to lead our growth efforts within the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense. This is a mission-critical role focused on capturing immediate pipeline, securing key renewals, and architecting long-term outreach strategies for our most sensitive accounts. You will act as a strategic quarterback, navigating complex procurement vehicles and building deep trust with government stakeholders to deliver Sayari's world-class risk intelligence.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own and execute the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to close for National Security and Defense accounts.
  • Architect and lead a multi-threaded outreach strategy into new sub-verticals within the IC and DoD.
  • Partner with the Managing Director to set strategic priorities and accounts while maintaining complete ownership of the execution.
  • Ensure 100% retention of existing high-value accounts by managing renewal bandwidth and identifying expansion opportunities.
  • Maintain a clean, accurate, and updated pipeline in Salesforce, providing regular strategic updates to leadership.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Solutions, Legal, and Government Affairs to navigate complex federal procurement and technical requirements.
  • Act as a self-starter who identifies market gaps and proactively builds the "Sayari way" within your territory.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Required Skills & Experience
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • 8+ years of experience in federal sales, specifically selling complex software or data solutions into the National Security or Defense sectors.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding $2M+ annual quotas in the federal space.
  • Deep literacy in federal procurement cycles, contract vehicles, and agency-specific nuances.

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience selling graph analytics, OSINT, or supply chain risk management (SCRM) tools.
  • Existing high-level relationships within the IC or JSOC.

COMPENSATION:
The target base salary for this position is $160,000-$180,000 plus commission and equity. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, candidate experience and expertise, internal peer equity, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
