Sawmill Production Team, Baxley, Georgia
Interfor is seeking motivated and safety-conscious individuals to join our Sawmill Production Team in Baxley, Georgia. The successful candidates will be reliable, committed, and eager to grow into various positions, including general labor, machine operators, and forklift operators. The starting rate for this position is $18.95 per hour with the potential to grow to $28.38 per hour based on skill level and experience.
Shift: Nights
Department: Sawmill (5:30 pm to 5:30 am) Planer Mill (4:30pm to 3:30 am)
What You'll Do
  • Complete clean-up and ground maintenance of regularly assigned area.
  • Assist with keeping a steady flow of lumber throughout the mill by straightening lumber cross-ups using a pickaxe or chain saw, as necessary.
  • Develop skills across various machine centers and take on new responsibilities as you grow within the company.
  • Perform any other work-related task deemed necessary by the supervisor.
