Job description

Overview

The NetSuite Administrator will be the technical expert responsible for the administration, customization, and optimization of the NetSuite ERP platform. The role involves partnering with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, and Customer Service to deliver scalable solutions that improve business processes and support continued growth.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom NetSuite solutions using SuiteScript (1.0, 2.0, and 2.1), SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, and SuiteTalk.
  • Configure and support core NetSuite functionality, including records, workflows, saved searches, dashboards, custom forms, and role-based security.
  • Develop and maintain custom PDF and HTML transaction templates using FreeMarker.
  • Configure and support manufacturing functionality including Units of Measure (UoM), Bill of Materials (BOM), Work Orders, and inventory processes.
  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations between NetSuite and third‑party applications using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and EDI technologies.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, optimize system performance, and support NetSuite upgrades and release testing.
  • Maintain technical documentation for customizations, workflows, integrations, and system configurations.
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve operational efficiency across the organization.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3–5+ years of hands‑on NetSuite administration, configuration, and development experience.
  • NetSuite SuiteFoundation Certification.
  • Strong experience with SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, and SuiteTalk (REST/SOAP).
  • Experience developing FreeMarker PDF/HTML templates.
  • Knowledge of NetSuite records, workflows, saved searches, custom records, and security.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing processes, including Units of Measure (UoM), Bill of Materials (BOM), and Work Orders.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.

Preferred:

  • NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer Certification.
  • Experience in manufacturing, chemical, industrial, or distribution environments.
  • Experience with Advanced Inventory Management and multi‑unit of measure environments.
  • Knowledge of EDI, third‑party logistics (3PL), e‑commerce integrations, and middleware platforms.
  • Experience with JavaScript, REST APIs, JSON, XML, and relational database concepts.
  • Experience supporting NetSuite implementations, upgrades, and enterprise‑scale ERP initiatives.
