JOB DESCRIPTION

Bathhouse is seeking a confident, guest-facing, and safety-oriented Sauna Master with strong leadership qualities to lead invigorating aufguss sessions and oversee the flow of the sauna experience. This position plays a highly visible role in shaping the guest journey, requiring exceptional customer service, clear communication, and the ability to calmly guide guests while maintaining a clean, safe, and well-managed sauna environment that promotes confidence and an elevated guest experience.

Extensive training is provided for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and perform Aufguss rituals for our daily schedule.
  • Ensure that customers enjoy a well-thought-out and well-performed sauna experience.
  • Guide and inform guests on cold plunging and sauna sessions, educating them about the health benefits and safe practices associated with these activities.
  • Maintain dry, unobstructed floors and pathways to support guest safety, comfort, and relaxation.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable presence within the space, confidently answering guest questions about Bathhouse offerings with warmth, discretion, and professionalism.
  • Maintain the visual and operational standards of the amenities by promptly collecting used towels, water bottles, slides, and other guest items.
  • Observe and report any maintenance or functionality concerns within the amenities areas, submitting service tickets to the Facilities team as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in dance, performance, martial arts, or other athletic or movement-related disciplines.
  • Experience in and enthusiasm for customer service.
  • Physical ability to perform in sauna temperatures (ranging from 175 - 185 degrees).
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and a calm, guest-first demeanor.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
