Eram Talent is seeking a highly motivated Media & Communications Specialist specializing in Upstream & Gas to join our team in Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies that effectively convey our company's activities, initiatives, and achievements in the upstream and gas sectors.

The Media & Communications Specialist will work closely with technical teams and management to craft compelling narratives, create content for various media channels, and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including media representatives. This position is essential for enhancing our visibility and reputation within the industry.

If selected, the work location would be onsite at Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute communication strategies tailored to the upstream and gas sectors.
  • Media watch – Monitor the media channels and extract important information related to Gas business
  • Media Channel Coordinators – To develop a direct channel with the Upstream and Cooperate Media departments to identify opportunities to publish media content domestically and internationally.
  • Writers – Develop a high-level speeches and media content
  • Create high-quality content for press releases, articles, presentations, and digital platforms.
  • Manage media relations and act as a spokesperson for the company when needed.
  • Coordinate the dissemination of information about projects, initiatives, and achievements to relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor media coverage and industry trends to inform communication strategies.
  • Support the development of internal communication materials to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Organize events and participation in industry conferences to promote the company's initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in media relations, communications, or public relations within the oil and gas industry, preferably in upstream or gas sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the upstream and gas industries, including regulatory frameworks and market dynamics.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
  • Proven experience managing media relations and developing communication strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills to build relationships with media and industry stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with digital communication platforms and social media management.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of communication efforts.
  • Proficiency in both English and Arabic is preferred.
