Position Summary
We're looking for energetic and reliable Team Members to join the Fort Wayne FC matchday crew and help create an unforgettable fan experience! In this role, you'll help keep concession stands running smoothly by preparing and serving food, assisting guests, handling transactions, and keeping your work area clean and organized. Whether it's a packed Saturday night match or a special stadium event, you'll work alongside a fun, fast-paced team to deliver friendly service and keep fans fueled for the action.
You'll be right in the middle of the excitement during Fort Wayne FC home matches-mostly Saturday evenings from May 2 through October 24, plus a few Wednesday games. On top of that, you'll have opportunities to work a variety of other stadium events throughout the season. If you enjoy fast-paced environments, great vibes, and being part of match-day energy, this is the opportunity for you!
What You'll Do
  • Prepare and serve food and beverage items according to stadium standards and recipes to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately, process payments, and follow all cash handling procedures to maintain financial integrity.
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and guest facing areas to meet health department and stadium sanitation requirements.
  • Restock products, condiments, utensils, and supplies throughout the event to support continuous service.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and allergen awareness protocols to ensure guest safety.
  • Provide friendly, efficient, and professional service to all guests, assisting with questions and resolving minor concerns.
  • Support stand setup and breakdown, including equipment preparation, product organization, and end of event cleaning.

Requirements
What We're Looking For
  • Basic understanding of food handling, sanitation, and customer service principles.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and courteously with guests, coworkers, and supervisors. Ability to follow instructions, adhere to procedures, and work effectively in a fast paced environment.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash and operating POS systems.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a positive, professional attitude during high volume periods.

Experience and Training
  • No prior experience required; previous food service, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Must complete required stadium training, including food safety, cash handling, and guest service modules.
  • Applicants must be 16 years of age or older. (21+ ONLY for alcohol service roles).
  • Demonstrates reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work event driven schedules.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during events. Frequent walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25-30 lbs.
  • Ability to work in warm environments near cooking equipment.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions such as scooping, pouring, and operating POS systems.

Work Environment:
  • Fast paced, high energy stadium setting with large crowds.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures, including outdoor conditions depending on stand location.
  • Noise levels may be high during peak events times.

What You'll Wear
We'll provide your event staff shirt-just bring khaki pants or approved long shorts and comfortable slip-resistant shoes, and you're ready to roll.
