Job description

Position Summary:
Satellite Suites is looking for an experienced warehouse supervisor to manage and oversee warehouse activities to ensure efficient processes and maximize productivity. Main responsibilities include overseeing incoming inventory items, ensuring timely unloads and proper distribution. Review purchasing orders; to note any discrepancies, document items received, and utilize MRP system. Along with ensuring all receiving/material handling team members are properly trained in company procedures and safety protocols.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise receiving and material handling team members.

Oversee the Inspecting of products for damage and accurate counts.

Ensure items are properly tagged, labeled, and stored safely and properly.

Manage, evaluate, and report on warehouse productivity.

Receive items into the MRP system in a timely and accurate manner.

Train receiving team on forklift, scanning gun, and all other related equipment.

Periodically review and improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency.

Ensure safety practices & processes are being followed by the receiving team and within the receiving area.


Education and Experience Requirements:

2-4 years of warehouse experience required.

2-4 years in a leadership role.

Excellent data entry, computer skills, and communication skills

Able to work independently and within a fast-paced environment.
