SAIC is seeking a SIGINT Training Specialist in Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD

JOB DESCRIPTION:  

The SIGINT Training Specialist will develop, deliver, and maintain training programs supporting U.S. Army Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) missions. This role supports C5ISR Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) efforts by developing and delivering accurate, timely, and mission-focused instruction on SIGINT systems, tools, doctrine, and workflows. The ideal candidate has operational SATCOM and RF experience, strong instructional skills, and the ability to work closely with engineers, system administrators, and program leadership.

JOB DUTIES

  • Develop, update, and deliver training materials for Army SIGINT systems, including classroom instruction, hands-on equipment training, and field-based exercises.
  • Provide training for SIGINT collection platforms.
  • Conduct new equipment training (NET), operator refresher training, and mission-specific instructional requirements as needed.
  • Coordinate with system and network engineers, system developers, and technical project leads to ensure training content reflects the latest capabilities, tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs), and system upgrades.
  • Create and maintain technical documents, user guides, quick-reference cards, and multimedia instructional content.
  • Perform on-site support during testing events, fielding activities, and operational deployments when required.
  • Engage in cross-functional collaboration supporting SIGINT equipment integration efforts as needed.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE

  • Bachelors and five (5) years’ experience. Additional years’ experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in Military related training preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess a working knowledge of IT infrastructure, encompassing both system administration and network operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) products.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies for rapid integration into current and evolving requirements.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time. 
  • Ability to travel periodically (CONUS), up to 20%. 
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen. 
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 Years Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) or SATCOM RF operations, collection, or system support.
  • Prior military instructor certification (e.g., ABIC) or equivalent civilian training certification.
  • Experience with training development frameworks such as ADDIE.
  • Familiarity with electronic warfare (EW), spectrum operations, or SATCOM.
  • Experience with system administration and integration.
