Job description

Sayres is seeking an experienced RATT Lead – Mine Countermeasures (MCM) Team in San Diego, CA with a SECRET clearance, verifiable in DISS.

Position Summary

  • The MCM RATT Lead supports readiness assessments for Mine Countermeasures ships and associated engineering systems, maintenance programs, and operational readiness requirements.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct engineering and maintenance readiness assessments.
    • Evaluate material condition and maintenance execution.
    • Review engineering documentation and readiness metrics.
    • Develop recommendations to improve ship readiness.
    • Support fleet maintenance and training initiatives.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 15 years of supervisory Navy engineering experience.
    • Extensive engineering operational experience on MCM platforms preferred.
    • Strong understanding of Navy maintenance and readiness processes.
    • Maintenance/training staff experience preferred.
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • 25+ years highly desirable.

Occasional travel may be required. Support is primarily based in San Diego, CA, with occasional travel to Navy fleet concentration areas including Everett, WA; Pearl Harbor, HI; Sasebo, Japan; Yokosuka, Japan; and Singapore, as well as other customer locations as required.

Salary Range: $90,000–$140,000, commensurate with experience. Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and market considerations.
