Job description

Overview

We are looking for a SAS member for the Network Device team to support development of new and existing capabilities. Join a mission-driven team developing advanced software capabilities in direct support of U.S. national security initiatives. As a CNO Engineer on the SAS Mobile team, you'll play a critical role designing, developing, and deploying tools that enhance mission's ability to operate and defend across cyber and communications domains.

This position is ideal for engineers who thrive in challenging environments where innovation, precision, and impact intersect.

Requirements

  • The years of experience must be in software development or an extremely related discipline.
  • This LCAT also requires 2 years of cybersecurity/CNO-specific development.
  • The candidate's degree must be in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or something extremely similar)
  • 5+ years of experience with C development and reverse engineering (CS2)
  • 10+ years of experience with C development and reverse engineering (CS3)
  • Experience with CNO Development on Network Devices
  • Candidates should have one of more of the following:
  • In-depth understanding of network protocols
  • Experience with network device appliances (routers, switches, firewalls)
  • Experience working in a Real Time Operating System environment
