Requirement/Must Have:

  • 1+ years of SAS platform administration (SAS 9.x or Viya).
  • Familiarity with UNIX/Linux command line and file systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and ticket-handling skills.
  • Ability to follow documented procedures and escalate appropriately.
  • Exposure to SAS Grid, VA, or Viya environments.
  • Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
  • Basic scripting knowledge (Shell, Python, etc.).

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain existing RHEL scripts and schedules.
  • Develop new scripts as required to support additional needs.
  • Provide SAS consulting assistance to approximately 8000 end users.
  • Support responsibilities include problem determination, best practices, and coding techniques.

Skills:

  • SAS Grid architecture and installation experience.
  • Experience with a variety of data sources including DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, MS Access, MS Excel, Hadoop, Dremio, Starburst, ASCII, EBDCIC, and CLI interfaces.
