Contract Type: W2 Only
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Onsite - Local Candidates Only
Pay Range: $80 - $85 on W2
Job Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on SAP Security Analyst - Consultant with 5+ years of SAP Security experience and strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA authorization, PFCG, Fiori security, and access management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing and maintaining SAP roles, securing Fiori Launchpad environments, troubleshooting authorization issues, and supporting S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, and migrations.
This is a hands-on configuration role requiring the ability to independently design, build, troubleshoot, and optimize SAP security solutions rather than focusing solely on documentation or strategy. The consultant will work closely with functional and technical teams to ensure secure, compliant, and business-aligned access.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, maintain, and optimize SAP S/4HANA authorization roles using PFCG, including single, composite, and derived roles.
  • Configure and secure SAP Fiori Launchpad, including catalogs, groups, tiles, spaces, pages, and Fiori application authorizations.
  • Maintain front-end and back-end security alignment across Fiori Gateway, SAP BTP, S/4HANA, OData services, ICF nodes, and authorization objects.
  • Perform user administration, role assignments, mass user maintenance, periodic access reviews, and day-to-day SAP Security support.
  • Troubleshoot authorization issues using SU53, ST01/STAUTHTRACE, SU24, and SUIM, identifying and resolving missing or incorrect authorizations.
  • Support SoD analysis and remediation, role redesign/cleanup, S/4HANA upgrades and migrations, security testing, documentation, audit requirements, and SLA-based security tickets.
Must-Have Skills:
  • 5+ years of hands-on SAP Security experience with strong SAP S/4HANA security expertise.
  • Deep knowledge of PFCG, authorization objects, SU24, SU25, derived roles, composite roles, and role maintenance.
  • Strong hands-on experience securing SAP Fiori Launchpad, including catalogs, groups, tiles, spaces, and pages.
  • Experience with Fiori Gateway, OData authorization, front-end/back-end role synchronization, and S/4HANA authorization architecture.
  • Strong authorization troubleshooting experience using SU53, ST01/STAUTHTRACE, SUIM, and authorization trace tools.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Experience with SAP BTP / standalone Fiori security environments.
  • Experience with SoD/risk analysis, mitigation controls, and firefighter/emergency access.
  • Experience securing transactional, analytical, and factsheet Fiori applications.
  • Experience with SAP security role redesign, cleanup, optimization, and SU25 methodology.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, migrations, or transformation projects from a security perspective.
  • Strong understanding of how SAP security roles align with business process requirements and functional configurations.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and deliver hands-on security configuration.
  • Strong documentation, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
