Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs for custom applications and extensions on SAP PPQM.
  • Development: Possess basic knowledge of analyzing, debugging, and identifying customized programming solutions.
  • Integration: Integrate custom applications and extensions with SAP and non-SAP systems using various integration technologies such as SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and SAP Process Integration (PI/PO).
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Plan and execute unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for custom applications and extensions. Ensure reliability, performance, and security under different scenarios.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, code documentation, and user manuals. Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users and support teams.
  • Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for custom applications and extensions deployed on SAP PPQM. Monitor application performance, diagnose technical issues, and implement bug fixes and enhancements.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies and best practices related to SAP PPQM. Participate in training programs, workshops, and conferences to enhance skills and knowledge. Maintain a strong understanding of business values, technical architecture, and service catalogs in the Production Planning and Quality Management domain.
  • Development Expertise: Experience with at least one PPQM extension technology, including knowledge of HANA database features and Fiori development. Familiarity with platform services such as Audit Log, HANA Cloud, Notifications, Cloud Foundry, CI/CD, SAP Business Application Studio, Transport Management, and Connectivity. Some experience in automated software testing and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Integration & Agile Methodologies: Strong grasp of integration concepts and SAP PPQM Integration Suite capabilities. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
