SAP Basis Consultant
Role Description
  • Be responsible for SAP system installation, configuration, maintenance, migrations and upgrades
  • Conduct research into and trouble shoot SAP Basis related issues
  • Be responsible for the administration of the SAP system including installations, upgrades, system refresh, performance, security, sizing, support and connectivity
  • Apply Support/Enhancement packs, monitoring disk sizing/utilization as well as system performance
  • Install and configure system monitoring using Solution Manager
  • Develop and implement system copies and data refreshes
  • Responsible for Database Administration
  • Manage routine patching and upgrades of operating system and databases
  • Assist in disaster recovery planning, testing and process implementation
  • Be responsible for performance tuning for Database and SAP
  • Drive automation and scripting methodologies

Candidate Requirements:
  • Well versed in SAP Basis Monitoring, installation and configuration
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Well versed of working with onsite/offshore models and leading teams in different geographies
  • Able to work with professionals having diversified backgrounds
  • Good at problem solving/team player
  • Good database knowledge (Oracle, DB2, SQL, HANA, Sybase)
