Job description

POSITION OVERVIEW

There is a job opening for aMaintenance Planner E&I, salary grade level H6, in the Maintenance and ReliabilityDepartment atthe Pensacola site. The base work schedule is 10 hour days,Monday through Thursday with some overtime required. After-hours availability will be required at times. Personnel may be utilized across the site on an "as needed" basis to support shutdowns, emergencies, and specific skills as determined by Maintenance Leadership.

TARGETED OUTCOMES

  • Develop E&I job plans and prepare them for scheduling and work execution. Includesroutine (non-reactive) maintenance jobs, preventive (PM) and predictive jobs (PdM), Compliance and outage jobs.
  • Develops andensuresthe accuracy of BOM (Bill of Materials) making edits and additions as needed.
  • Identifies part discrepancies, additional work needed, work task edits, reoccurring problems in area of responsibility through review of complete work orders in order to build standard job packages

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plans the E&I and soft skills maintenance work (corrective, preventive and predictive) for the operating site
  • Provides effective job plans to accomplish work completion in an efficient and effective manner, including material & tool requirements labor estimates, and work instructions
  • Plans mechanical maintenance work with special attention paid to all regulatory requirements that may apply. This includes, but is not limited to, OSHA rules, EPA regulations, and state and local environmental regulations, ISO 9001, etc.
  • Provides effective job plans to accomplish work completion in an efficient and effective manner, including material & tool requirements labor estimates, and work instructions
  • Identifies the need for outside Contractors and secure proposal to complete the scope of work
  • Reviews submitted work orders for completeness and accuracy communicating with Operations & Maintenance Coordinators as needed
  • Reviews all completed work orders for completeness and accuracy, updating equipment history data and job plan feedback in the CMMS system as required
  • Transitions capital improvement projects from engineering department to the operations and maintenance departments. This includes updating of information in the CMMS database to reflect the improvement, addition, or deletion of equipment and their associated spare parts and maintenance procedures & job plans
  • Maintains the PM system for area of responsibility, editing jobs, estimated hours, frequency, adding new PM's as needed
  • Assists Material Coordinator with part discrepancies, description cleanup, etc.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Ten (10) years minimum experience as a qualified E&I Technician
  • Three to Five (3 to 5) years minimum of planning experience
  • An understanding of the Maintenance Work Flow process.
  • Knowledge of the "Management-of-Change" process.
  • Experience in the relevantEnvironmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) requirements and how to meet them.
  • Knowledge of equipment throughout the plant.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Good organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to define and create good job plan details to include a clear scope, craft / skill level requirements, time completion estimates, the needed tools and equipment, and any additional services or support to perform the work.
  • Can read prints/schematics.
  • Understanding of the Purchasing and Stores process functions, and how to use them to procure material, outside labor, and/or services.
  • Computer skills for effective use of the SAP maintenance program, PC web-based data entry, the Microsoftsuite (Outlook, Word, Excel) programs, and other applications
  • Ability to perform SAP Work Order Planning (Add, Display, Change, Delete) functions, including reserving/requisitioning of parts and materials; the job plan library system; and the document management system.
  • Able to make necessary changes to SAP Equipment and Functional Location records.
